Lecture capture is a generic term that commonly refers to the recording of lectures or other lessons/content, using a software like Panopto (SLU’s lecture capture tool). Lectures may be recorded during a live class session, or they may be recorded outside of class, from an instructor’s office or a recording space on campus.
